Hot Wheels "Strippers" Tampo Modifications 2001
Go Kart #141
Wrecking perfectly good Hot Wheels so you don't have to
<

Stock appearance

Bare-hipped
Model: 2001 Go Kart #141
Description: This is one of my favorite Hot Wheels models of any model year. And judging from its scarcity and aftermarket cost, I'm far from alone in my love for this cutie. (Perhaps it's because this is as close as 95% of adult collectors will ever get to driving a real race car. Driving a fast kart at an indoor circuit was the most exciting thing I did all last year.) So it hurt to take solvent to this sweet seat. Oh, the things I do for my readers....
Level of difficulty: Easy. Nothing near any sensitive plastics.
Options: Several partial stripping options with the modular Tampo. Might this benefit from a set of gold wire rims?
Watch for: Tampo paint around the front wheels. You'll need to dig in there, but be careful not to over-rub or you could scuff the surface of the front wheel.

Bare-faced

Bare-...well, you know...
