The Jargonizer
Content is currently limited to The Geekspeak Lexicon, which currently contains over 300 of the most-requested terms and definitions. Additional resources planned in 2002 are, regrettably, vaporware...but the Jargonizer is for real.
This leg of the site is dedicated to the proposition that all people are created equal, Internet geeks and marketing communicators somewhat less so, and as a consequence, the rest of us must work a little harder to understand these unfortunate souls.
This site was originally intended as a commercial venture, buzzable.com, and was mothballed in late 2000 for reasons which should be obvious to anyone with a firing synapse. buzzable's mandate was to help improve the quality of interpersonal communications in the Internet age by educating the public on the devolving language of its most avid practitioners...and failing that, to have a laugh at the public's expense.
